Singapore’s coffee market is saturated with everything from global chains to boutique cafés. As a newly opened independent store between Chinatown and the CBD, Agora lacked both advertising budget and initial traffic.

The founders didn’t want short-term hype—they wanted sustained, organic word-of-mouth. Their goal: get strangers to genuinely post, “I tried this place, it’s great,” on Xiaohongshu and Instagram. To achieve this, they partnered with us to craft a localized brand and content engine built for authentic community buzz.

  1. Brand Positioning & Visual Identity
    Through market research, we defined Agora as “affordable + great-tasting,” with a brand personality of “everyday approachable.” We built a visual identity tailored to local aesthetics, covering logo, menu, cup sleeves, and social media visuals.

  2. User Targeting & Product Strategy
    Focusing on two main groups—Chinatown tourists and CBD office workers—we designed a menu mix of budget-friendly staples, in-house roasted beans, and seasonal drinks to encourage regular visits and social sharing.

  3. 100+ Local UGC Campaign on Xiaohongshu
    We activated over 100 local micro-influencers to post authentic “daily coffee experience” content, using curated hashtags and keywords to increase organic exposure and discoverability.

  4. Online + Offline Buzz Loop
    Beyond social platforms, we designed in-store touchpoints to encourage organic check-ins and reviews on Google Maps, Instagram, and Xiaohongshu. From physical prompts to staff cues, every detail nudged real customers to share their experience—turning foot traffic into lasting digital presence.
